Main Lesson Aim(s) For students to… (review, use, develop, practise…) Subsidiary Aim(s)   For students to… (review, use, develop, practise…) 1.Learn about knowledge aobut  Yuan Longping. 2. Develop the reading skills, skimming ,scanning, getting the main idea of each paragraph. Develop the students’ reading skills by filling the gaps and doing some True or Fales activity.

Assumptions  What your students already know (about the language, an activity, the topic) that will help them in this lesson 1.      Students have known something about Yuan Longping. 2.      Students have learnt the reading skills.

 

Class profile and Timetable Fit Information about your class: age, level, number, motivation, etc. and how this lesson fits with previous and future lessons The class is from senior One. They are almost 15 years old. They just came from Junior school. Many students didn’t well in learning English. In this class, there’re 32 boys and 28 girls. In my eyes, they don’t like study English. Actually, they dislike listening, speaking and reading, for in junior school, many teachers in the class didn’t speak English. They always speak in Chinese in the English class. After a term’s learning, many of them become better. They have learnt listening, speaking, reading, writing, etc. 

 

Anticipated Problems and Solutions   Very specific problems and solutions in regards to classroom management of a particular stage.   Problem Solution 1. Students will meet some new words of this Unit. Revise the words and expressions if possible. 2. Students will not remember the reading skills well By asking CCQS.
