T: Yes, it is a car. Do the actions to drive a car.
T: I have some pictures for you. Please look at the screen. What’s this?
Who can tell me?
S1: It’s a bus.
T: Good! Next one please, put up your hand and tell me What’s this?
S2: It’s a car.
T: Great! Show other words (bike, spaceship) learned before in order.
Now boys and girls, look at the pictures on the screen and answer my questions:
How do people go home? By_____?
T: Show pictures about transportations to students one by one.
Have them answer questions.

Step3: Playing a game 游戏
T: OK, boys and girls, Let’s play a game, the name is “what’s missing?” I will show you some words we learned just now. First, it will have four pictures, then one picture will miss on the screen. Can you guess “what’s missing?”
T: Show pictures for students, ask them to guess it.
(学生喜欢做游戏,新教授的单词融入到游戏当中,他们会全神贯注地盯着大屏幕,看缺了哪张图片。这个活动的开展一方面锻炼他们的眼力,另一方面也巩固了本课所学的新知识。)

T: Have students see the dialogs on their books for two minutes. Then ask students to close their books first and listen to the dialogs in this part. Then teacher models the dialog. Ask students to repeat.
T: Play the tape again. This time asks students to repeat the dialog after the tape. Divide the whole class into two parts and role-play the dialog.
(学生听对话后,老师带领学生跟读对话,然后学生分角色对话,这一系列的基础训练是为了让学生巩固所学的知识,为下一步做替换练习打好基础。)
Step4: Pairwork and Groupwork 合作练习对话
T: Ask students to practice dialogs in pairs. One student asks: How do you go home?
The other student answers: By_______. / On foot.
T: Ask several pairs to show their dialogs to the whole class. Give them proper judgments.
T: Put the class into three groups. Put some words about transportations on the blackboard. Have them make their own dialogs.
(两人合作和三个小组做练习是为了进一步让学生熟悉所学的对话知识,不同形式的操练能让他们熟练运用所学知识。)
Step5: Sing a song! 唱歌
T: All right, boys and girls. Are you tired?
T: Oh, Miss Cheng is tired too. Let’s have a rest and listen to a song together.
T: Play the song for students. In the first time, have students listen to the song. Then ask students to sing slowly after it. At last, ask students to sing it loudly.
