We meet for the first time.

T: Good morning, I’m Mary.
S: Good morning, I’m…
T: Nice to meet you.
教师同时可以和学生握手来表示这句话的意思。
学生迟疑地说出Nice to meet you.
T: Hello, I’m Mary. Nice to meet you.
S: Nice to meet you.
如此对话尝试四五个学生后,拿出小黑板,让学生跟读。
教师要特别注意meet you的连读。

T: 我说很高兴见到你,你可以说“Nice to meet you.”,但如果你说“Nice to meet you.,too.”会更好,因为它表示我也很高兴见到你。

教师继续用刚才的方法训练孩子说Nice to meet you,too.

S: Nice to meet you,too.
如此对话尝试四五个学生后,拿出小黑板,让学生同座练习。接着表演。
