教师找学生扮演对话中的人物，注意提示其他同学要认真倾听。此活动可请5—6组同学表演。

活动五：师生交流
教学参考时间：7—8 分钟
教师根据学生朗读]Let’s talk 部分的内容提问：What is Chen Jie doing? 学生回答：Drawing pictures. 教师引导学生说：She is drawing pictures. 教师接着询问：What is Amy doing? 学生回答： She is reading a book. 教师用此问答，引导学生表述他人在做什么的语句。
教师出示准备好的一幅画，并询问：What is she/he doing? 学生看图回答：He/She ’s singing/ dancing/ playing ping-pong/ drawing pictures/ playing the piano.
画的内容为：图片的背景为活动中心的大门和房屋轮廓图，并写有Children’s Center的字样。中心内容为孩子们在儿童活动中心活动的情景，其中有的孩子在唱歌，有的孩子在跳舞，有的在打电子游戏，有的在打乒乓球，有的在画画，有的在弹钢琴。
4—5人一组，让学生分小组，用 “What is she/he doing? He/She ’s….” 表述图上的内容。
鼓励学生向老师、向伙伴提问。提问内容可以是“询问某人在干什么”，更可以提问其它学过的句型，如：“ Who is the girl/boy? How many people are there in the picture? What is this/that? What are these/those? Where are they? … ”
教师指着图片的背景部分问：Do you know where it is? Where are the children? 自然引出“Children’s Center”，教师带读“Children’s Center”。
教师接着询问学生：Do you want to go to the Children’s Center? 本句较长，教师分段带读，突破难点：
the Children’s Center
go to the Children’s Center
want to go to the Children’s Center
Do you want to go to the Children’s Center?
活动六：读读写写
教学参考时间：4—5 分钟
教师说：Now, Zhang Peng calls John.（教师此时做打电话的动作） What are they talking about? Listen.
教师播放Read and write 的录音，要求学生认真听。
听过之后，教师问：What is John doing? What is Zhang Peng doing? 学生回答：John’s doing the dishes. Zhang Peng is talking.
再次播放，学生跟读。
教师向学生出示本部分的挂图，对This is Zhang Peng 的用法作必要解释。告诉学生打电话时若想告诉对方自己是谁，不能说：I am…. 而应该说：This is / It’s …. 教师对其它重难点句子的阅读也要做必要解释，如：I am talking to you. Do you want to go to the Children’s Center?
鼓励学生看书上的图案，试读对话。
完成教材中第48页 Answer the questions的活动。
活动七：学发音
教学参考时间：4—5 分钟
教师播放教学课件。内容和方法如下：
教师出示单词：cool, goose, school, boots, ，让学生边听边读，试着找出oo 组合的发音规律。然后教师出示字母组合ou 和单词 soup, group, coup，对比ou 和oo组合发音的不同，归纳规律。
教师播放该部分录音，学生跟读。然后请几名学生试着朗读绕口令。
用同种方法学习tr, tw的发音规律。
教师播放Pronunciation整段录音，学生整体跟读、体会oo,ou, tr, tw组合在句子中的发音。
4、Let’s play （趣味操练）
活动八：书写练习
教学参考时间：2—3 分钟
教师指导学生在练习本上书写四会的句子，看谁写的又快又好。
活动九：木头人
教学参考时间：1—2分钟
教师发口令：“Now, everybody. Do an action.”全班学生任意作动作，当教师说：“Stop.”时所有学生都保持原来的动作。教师任意问学生：“What are you doing?”，学生根据自己做的动作回答。
