    ■Warm up by getting to know about Australia.
    Hello, class. Welcome to Module 7 Australia!
    Australia is a country in the Southern Hemisphere, between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. Its official name is the Commonwealth of Australia. Australia is also a continent in the area of Australasia and Oceania.
    ■Listen and read.
    On page 56 is a dialogue about Australia.
    Before we act it out, let's first read it. While reading, try to: cut/ the sentence into thought groups, study the predicative, darken the connectives and underline all the useful expressions. (阅读过程中,断开/意群,观察谓语构成,圈出连词,摘录短语搭配。)
    Useful expressions (有用的短语搭配)
    be up to…, look for…, take photos, like a hand to do sth., do a project about…, visit a country, write about…, imagine that…, write a letter to…, have a look at…, be called…, a huge rock, in the centre of Australia, the Sydney Opera House, a huge sailing boat with water on three sides, a photo of…, on the Great Barrier Reef, jump alongside…, on one's way back from,  great photos, by the way, borrow…again, a photo competition, take some photos, at a school dance, next week, bet sb. do sth., do a project on…
    ■Group the sentences from the dialogue into different types
    Type 1. He is a teacher. He looks like a teacher. 主语+系动词+表语
    1. What are you up to?
    2. What's that?
    3. It's a huge rock in the centre of Australia.
    4. It's fantastic.
    5. That's the Sydney Opera House.
    6. It's like a huge sailing boat with water on three sides.
    7. And this one is a photo of a shark that I saw on the Great Barrier Reef.
    8. It's amazing!
    9. They're great photos.
    Type 2. He runs. 主语+不及物动词
    Type 3. He writes books. 主语+及物动词+宾语
    1. I'm looking for the photos that you took in Australia.
    2. We're doing a project about countries that we want to visit, and I'm going to write about Australia.
    3. I have to imagine that I've been there.
