Step 2. Speaking (page 40)

Task 1: Suppose that one of your friends comes to visit you from another city. He wants you to show him around a park, which you know quite well. With your partner, prepare a role play using the information you prepared for your introduction. These words and expressions may help you.

Task 2: Ss listen to the tape twice and finish Ex 1 and 2 on page 23.

Step 4. Speaking

Task 3: you are visiting theme parks as a reporter for your radio station. You telephone to your station manager, who is deciding how much longer you can travel. With a partner, write a dialogue in which you describe one of your favourite theme parks. Try to persuade the manager to agree that you can travel to another theme park. Be ready to present your dialogue to your class. One of you will be the reporter; the other will be the manager. Use some of these words and expressions to help you.
