一、 单元分析
本单元主要学习“发表意见opinions”并作“预告Make predictions”。通过一般将来时态的学习，学会对未来进行预测，学会will 构成的一般将来时态的陈述句、否定句、疑问句及回答。通过时间对比复习一般过去时态、一般现在时态，巩固一般将来时。另外还涉及There be 句型的一般将来时；more, fewer, less几个词表示将来和现在的对比。
重点词汇：on paper \on computers, in the future, live to be, use to do …， in college, take the train to school, fly rockets to the moon, fall in love with, look smart, win awards, work for myself, come true, help with, the same as.
重点句型：--Will there be less\fewer pollution? --Yes, there will.
Kids will study at home on computers.
In ten years, I think I will be a reporter.
I might even keep a pet parrot.

a. 本单元的写作指导：
本单元主要是运用由will构成的一般将来时态，表示人们对于未来的设想与预测。通过对未来的设想，可以让我们对未来充满期待，也可以让我们体会并明白“只有今天的付出，才能有明天的收获”这样深刻的道理，也有利于一般将来时的掌握与运用。那么现在让我们来一同回顾一下一般将来时的基本用法：一般将来时由“助动词will + 动词原形”构成，表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态，也表示将来经常发生或反复发生的动作，常与表示将来的时间状语连用，如：tomorrow, next month, in 10 years, in the future等。
肯定句由“will + 动词原形”构成，例如：I will tell you the story tomorrow.
否定句由“will + not + 动词原形”构成，例如：I won’t help you do your homework.
疑问句由“will + 主语 + 动词原形”构成，例如：Will you please open the door?
另外，本单元还学习了there be句型的一般将来时形式there will be，例如：There will be fewer people in the future.
